Bakewell Carnival and Well Dressings are a series of events focussed around the main Bakewell carnival which takes place on the first Saturday of July each year.

There are events for the whole family to enjoy, so make your costumes, build your rafts, groom your pets, grab your wheelbarrows and wellies and join the fun!

The Bakewell Carnival Committee would like to thank everyone in the community who comes together each year to help support, organise, run and marshal the events. All the hard work and hours spent crafting works of creative wonderment, whether it be Well Dressings, costumes, rafts or floats for the Carnival, are all hugely appreciated.
